Bookshelf Meme~

Taken from soundlesswind<3

Rules: books you physically own only.

  1. Most Expensive:

    • Biology and Psychology textbooks (~200$), some I’ve never cracked open once and could not sell the following year because they’d changed editions. T__T
  2. Cheapest:

    • $3 book from BMV. I worship that store.
  3. Longest volume set:

    • Discworld series by Sir Terry Pratchett. (Currently own 27 volumes.)
  4. Most frequent book type:

    • Horror/fantasy novels and graphic novels.
  5. Any books created by you?:

    • None as of this moment, but I’m planning to make one soon. *v*
  6. Currently collecting:

    • Bonobono by Igarashi Mikio and Ray Bradbury novels.
  7. Most books by a single author:

    • 30 something books by Terry Pratchett.
    • 20 something from Tove Jansson and Igarashi Mikio.
  8. Any rare books?

  9. Any signed books?

    • Postcard book signed by James Jean
    • Femina & Fauna signed by Camilla D’Errico
    • Beartato and the Secret of the Mystery signed by Anthony Clark.
    • Some novels by Canadian authors.
  10. Book type you have the least of:

    • Dictionaries I guess?
  11. Least addictive book or series:

    • The Pact by Jodi Picoult. Everybody was raving about her rad writing skills so I got one book to try. It put me off her writing forever.
  12. Most addictive book or series:

    • Discworld, Bonobono, and horror series by Takahashi Yousuke. (I always have a soft spot for Hamster’s Research Report ハムスターの研究レポート, a manga by Ooyuki Shiwasu. The last volume came out in 2007 so I don’t think she’s making manga any longer. ;__; )
  13. Thinnest book:

    • The Wolves in the Walls by Neil Gaiman
  14. Thickest book:

    • Mushrooms Demystified by David Arora. (~1000pg)
  15. Most oddly-shaped book:

    • Rift by James Jean (Accordion book)
    • hideous herbert by Yigi Chang
  16. Incomplete book sets?;

    • Countless. Gotta hoard them all.
  17. Special editions?:

    • There probably are some, I usually don’t pay attention.
  18. Least all-time favourite:

    • The collective edition of Reader’s Digest. It was free…
  19. All-time favourite:

    • I love most of them.
  20. Most re-read:

    • Terry Pratchett.
  21. Largest (dimension) book?:

    • Coffin: The art of Vampire Hunter D.
  22. Smallest book?:

    • XOXO by James Jean. (4x6” postcard book)
  23. Most attractive book cover:

    • The Dangerous Journey by Tove Jansson
  24. Most common genre in book collection:

    • Horror/Fantasy
  25. Most memorable book:

    • ハムスターの研究レポート Just because I started reading it in Grade 2 and still adore her to this day. I’m really pining for new series by her.
